Serra de Tramuntana inscribed in World Heritage List

Serra de Tramuntana has been inscribed this monday 27th June in Unesco World's Heritage List.  During their 35th Convention in Paris, Serra de Tramuntana has been incluided as Cultural Landscape due its landscaped value and the optimal use of resources from the diferent civilizations through history have been stayed in Majorca.

The Serra de Tramuntana has a extension of more than 30,000 ha  between Andraitx and Pollensa in the northwest of the island. Towns like Soller or Deia, “possesions” like Son Marroig Artichoke Lluis Salvador residence and places of religious traditions as Lluc Monastery are part of it.

This distintion of cultural landscape of Serra de Tramuntana joins to the declaration of inmaterial heritage for Sibila songs in 2010 and Dalt Murada in Ibiza as a world heritage in 1999.
